Job summary

Entech Technical Solutions in Woking, Surrey, is seeking an Engineering Estimator to join our Machine Shop team. This permanent role focuses on producing accurate quotations for subcontract machining work and supporting customers through the quotation process.

You'll review methods, calculate costs and margins, work with Purchasing and Production, handle RFQs, and help convert quotations into orders. A strong engineering background and ERP/MRP experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or manufacturing engineering background
• Knowledge of CNC machining processes
• Good organisational skills
• Experience using Microsoft Office
• ERP/MRP experience advantageous

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations from drawings, CAD models and specs
• Review manufacturing methods and machining routes
• Calculate costs and margins
• Obtain cost information with Purchasing and Production
• Assess RFQs
• Support order processing through ERP
• Liaise with customers on lead times and delivery dates
• Support conversion of quotations into orders
