West Midlands - commutable from Birmingham, Coventry, Warwick, Solihull, Wolverhampton, Worcester, Redditch, Tamworth and surrounding areas

Are you an Engineering Director or senior Engineering Leader from a Highways, Transport, Infrastructure or Operational Technology background, looking to take a leading role within a major organisation delivering complex, mission-critical engineering programmes?

This is an excellent opportunity to lead a multidisciplinary engineering function, shaping engineering strategy and overseeing the delivery of major technology and infrastructure programmes.

You will provide strategic and technical leadership across the full engineering lifecycle, developing high-performing teams, driving engineering governance and working closely with senior customers, suppliers and stakeholders.

The Role:

• Lead the engineering strategy and delivery of major Highways / Infrastructure programmes
• Manage and develop multidisciplinary engineering teams across the full project lifecycle
• Oversee engineering governance, systems engineering, V&V, assurance and technical compliance
• Work with senior customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver complex technology programmes

The Person:

• Engineering Director / Head of Engineering / senior Engineering Leader
• Background in Highways, Transport, Infrastructure or Operational Technology
• Experience delivering large-scale, integrated technology or engineering programmes
• Strong knowledge of systems engineering, governance, assurance and the full engineering lifecycle
