The successful candidate will drive resource planning, manage design risk, and collaborate with clients, regulators and internal teams to ensure high-quality engineering delivery throughout

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary design teams.
• Strong governance, assurance and risk management capabilities.
• Experience managing resources, workloads and delivery across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multidisciplinary engineering and design teams across projects and programmes.
• Represent the design function in meetings, updating on performance, risks and challenges.
• Develop and maintain design management processes, standards and documentation.
• Oversee design governance, assurance activities and quality audits.
• Support standardisation of products, processes and technical solutions.
• Manage design resources and capacity planning across projects.
• Maintain design risk registers and mitigation actions.
• Drive continuous improvement via lessons learned and reviews.
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, regulators and stakeholders to support delivery.
• Provide leadership to specialist technical functions as required.
