Job summary

University of Leicester is seeking a Teaching Fellow in Engineering Design and Experimentation to join the School of Engineering. You will plan and deliver lectures, labs, workshops and tutorials and supervise design and research projects, supporting students across undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes.

You will have a good first degree in Engineering or a relevant field, potentially a PhD, and experience in teaching or mentoring.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering teaching, training or mentoring in higher education or industry.
• Ability to plan and deliver lectures, laboratories, workshops and tutorials.
• Strong written and verbal communication; promotes inclusive interactions.
• Experience supervising projects and mentoring small teams.
• Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy is advantageous.
