Job Description

This is a fantastic career opportunity for someone with engineering project management experience to join a highly collaborative and supportive team in our Capital Maintenance Projects and deliver modern and innovative solutions to our operational sites.

In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of a large portfolio of capital projects, providing MEICA and Civil engineering construction solutions for wastewater, water production, waste, and water network functions, both above and below ground.

Responsibilities as an Engineering Delivery Manager

• Be an integral part of the growing Capital Maintenance Projects team.
• Manage the procurement process, framework suppliers, and sub-contractor supply chain involved in site-based construction activities.
• Be directly responsible for resource management and the training, development, and support of Project Engineers.
• Provide estimates, programming, and planning support to the wider team.
• Ensure all construction projects are delivered in compliance with client specifications.
• Manage site requirements to minimize impact on operational functionality.
• Deliver projects within legislative, CDM, and regulatory requirements, including Health & Safety, Environmental, and HR standards.

The base location for this role is Mogden STW, West London, with travel across the area. It requires being office-based 5 days per week. A car allowance is provided, and a valid driving license is required.

Hours of work are 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in a commercial and technical role, preferably with a degree/HND in engineering and/or business administration, along with post-qualification experience.
• Proven project management experience in an engineering environment, with knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and ICA systems.
• Experience managing procurement processes, suppliers, and subcontractors involved in site-based construction.
• Ability to manage resources and support staff development.
• Track record of delivering projects on time and within specifications, adhering to legislative and safety standards.
