Job summary

Bromsgrove and Redditch is seeking an Engineering CAD Technician to support civil engineering, drainage and construction projects across Redditch and Bromsgrove. You will design schemes, produce Cadcorp/AutoCAD drawings, prepare contract documents, carry out site inspections and assist with asset management.

Location is Redditch Town Hall with some hybrid working; 37 hours, with part-time consideration (minimum 30 hours). Interview date to be confirmed by management.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil engineering/construction environment.
• Strong CAD/GIS skills and IT systems knowledge.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety, CDM and Data Protection.
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Design schemes and produce Cadcorp/AutoCAD drawings.
• Prepare contract documents for highways, drainage and property projects.
• Carry out site inspections and surveys.
