Job summary

Gumtree is helping a market leading engineering business in the Aylesbury region find a dedicated Buyer. The role focuses on procurement, supplier negotiations and managing PO processes in a growing team. A strong candidate will have 2/3 years buying experience and exposure to SAP or similar ERP systems.

Salary £33k-£38k depending on experience with annual bonus and a strong pension scheme. Excellent company benefits and a supportive, forward-thinking environment in a reputable company.

Qualifications

• Experience in buying and procurement within engineering or manufacturing sectors.
• Knowledge of import/export processes and freight.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and supplier negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Raise and manage purchase orders accurately for goods and services.
• Check availability, pricing and supplier communications.
• Support import/export documentation and GRPO processes.
