Job summary

Office Angels is seeking a Buyer to join our engineering procurement team in Wellington, Somerset. You will support sourcing of goods, materials and services, ensuring cost, quality, delivery and compliance objectives are met.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing and supplier management within manufacturing/engineering.
• Proficient with ERP/MRP systems for purchasing.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor demand in the MRP system; review shortages and procure materials to meet production and project requirements.
• Raise accurate purchase orders; include all technical documents and drawings where applicable.
• Verify supplier acknowledgements and confirmations against PO requirements, resolving discrepancies.
• Manage daily replenishment activities and maintain stock levels.
• Develop strong supplier relationships to improve service and value.
