ASL in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated Buyer to join our market leading engineering team. You will manage purchase orders, pricing, supplier communications and ensure on-time delivery for goods and services.

Qualifications

• Good experience in purchasing, buying, procurement and related activities.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and SAP or similar.
• Knowledge of imports/exports, freight and customs clearance is advantageous.
• Supplier relationship management and negotiation skills are desirable.
• Procurement processes within engineering/manufacturing or fast-paced environments with multiple suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Raise and manage purchase orders for goods and services.
• Buying, pricing and availability checking.
• Invoice and GRPO support.
• Import/export documentation handling.
• Communication with suppliers on quotations, progress, and pricing.
