Job summary

DP World is hiring an Assistant Engineering Asset Manager at London Gateway Port (Stanford-le-Hope, Essex). You will lead an asset team, drive maintenance strategy and manage suppliers to maximise asset reliability.

This role reports to the Engineering Asset Manager and collaborates with HSE, operations and projects to deliver safe, compliant and efficient maintenance. You will use EAMS/Maximo to manage maintenance, inventory and procurement, develop RAMS, and support budget delivery and

Qualifications

• Professional qualification in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering.
• Senior engineer with asset management, maintenance and people leadership.
• NVQ/RQF Level 3 or above in a relevant discipline.
• Experience managing engineering equipment suppliers and contractors.
• Strong understanding of HSE requirements.
• Experience with project budgeting and maintenance delivery.
• Proficient with EAMS/Maximo for maintenance, inventory and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop engineering/asset teams to drive performance.
• Manage workshops, tools, spare parts and maintenance resources.
• Drive reliability and availability via preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Use EAMS/Maximo to manage maintenance, inventory and procurement.
• Collaborate with reliability, operations and HSE to deliver solutions.
• Ensure activities meet H&S, environmental and DP World standards.
• Develop RAMS, risk assessments and method statements.
• Manage suppliers, contractors and vendors for reliability and service.
• Support budget management and small CAPEX.
• Lead training and apprenticeship activities.
• Champion Lean and continuous improvement.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Engage with stakeholders and trade unions.
