Job summary

Leeds City College is recruiting an Engineering Assessor (Fabrication and Welding) to join our team. The role focuses on visiting partner employers, assessing apprentices, and delivering high-quality lessons to Level 2 and 3 learners.

You will design materials, track progress, and prepare apprentices for end-point assessments. The position supports CPD, collaboration with industry partners, and ensuring learners progress to higher education or employment.

Qualifications

• Qualified to Level 3 or above in Engineering.
• Experience working within the Engineering Industry.
• Passion for teaching and learning in engineering.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality Engineering lessons to learners at Level 2 and Level 3.
• Develop and adapt curriculum materials to meet learner needs.
• Assess and provide feedback on student progress and attainment.
• Support learners in achieving educational goals and progression.
