We are looking for the next generation of engineering talent who want practical experience in a fast-paced environment. You will work alongside our highly skilled maintenance engineers shadowing them and learning how we operate a smooth running operation.
Day to day duties will include, but are not limited to:
Engineering Apprentice
McCain started their business in Yorkshire and they're still there today. They have five McCain factories across the UK, including their head office in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. As well as a strong network of farmers, we also own a potato seed business in Montrose, Scotland. McCain is the UK's largest purchaser of British potatoes, buying approximately 15% of the annual potato crop. We work closely with over 250 UK growers to make sure the best potatoes are harvested.

The successful candidates will work towards achieving a Level 3 Mechatronics Maintenance Technician Standard and including the following qualifications:
Off-the-job training will take place at Derwent Training in Malton one day per week.
