Over the course of a 4-year apprenticeship, you'll master best engineering practices and dive into the fascinating world of sugar refining and packing. As an apprentice, you will:

1. Position, assemble, install, and dismantle mechanical and electrical plant and equipment according to specifications.
2. Perform planned, unplanned, and preventative maintenance procedures on plant and equipment.
3. Replace, repair, and/or remove components in plant and equipment to ensure their return to operational condition.
4. Diagnose and determine the cause of faults in plant and equipment.
5. Develop and apply continuous improvement principles.

Essential capabilities:

1. Ability to read and understand written instructions.
2. Numeracy and Literacy skills to 4-grade Maths and English GCSE's (or equivalent).

5. Good team worker and communicator with a flexible approach to work.
