Vacancy Description

Premier Compressor Services in Kettering are looking for two apprentice engineers to join their team. As well as working for this employer, you will also be working towards your Level 2 Engineering Operative qualification.

Premier Compressor Services has a team of skilled and experienced engineers who provide a full range of services to compressed air users, including installation, pipework installation, preventative maintenance on air compressors, and associated equipment with 24-hour breakdown service across Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, and further afield.

In this role, you will work with skilled engineers and learn about servicing air compressors, installing air compressors and ancillary equipment, mechanical fault finding, electrical fault finding, pipework installation, pneumatics installation, and connected fault finding and repairs. You will assist engineers with callouts to breakdowns. The work is primarily on customer premises and industrial sites, such as factories, garages, hospitals, and dentists. Work times may vary based on business needs and site locations, sometimes starting earlier. College attendance will be at the Corby campus once a week, starting September 2025.
