Job summary

Columbus McKinnon is seeking an experienced project leader to manage engineered crane projects from handover to closeout, coordinating engineering, manufacturing, procurement and installation to meet customer specifications. The role focuses on schedule, budget, risk management and stakeholder communication to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in engineering or related field.
• 3 yrs+ experience working on engineered-to-order/equipment projects.
• Strong knowledge of crane engineering, lifting, and applicable standards.
• PRINCE2 or other project management qualification desirable.
• Strong stakeholder communication and management experience.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP and BOM creation/management.
• Advanced Excel ability.
• Strong written and spoken English language.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from order handover to final acceptance and closeout.
• Develop and maintain project execution schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and per customer specs.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and service teams.
• Provide regular project status updates and maintain documentation and performance metrics.
