Job Description:

Join a successful security company specializing in Security / Access Control Systems, working with some of the UK's largest utility companies. We are looking for an ambitious Engineer to join our Technology Projects division during an exciting growth phase.

This is a field-based, UK-wide role, so willingness to travel and work away from home is essential.

• Demonstrate expertise in at least one of the following disciplines: Access Control, CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Powerfence
• Experience with Gallagher Security Systems (Access Control or Perimeter)
• Forward-thinking with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with effective planning skills

Responsibilities:

• Fault diagnosis on Electrical Fence, CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarms systems
• Installation of bespoke security systems
• Planned preventive maintenance on security systems
• Detecting, reporting defects, snags, and complaints
• Managing van stock, replenishment, and stocktaking
• Problem-solving and making diligent recommendations
• Demonstrating systems to clients and end users
• Arranging PAT and meter calibrations for company equipment
• Completing asset tagging and registration of information
• PC and IT literacy required for data recording and communication
