Qualifications

Job description

We are currently looking for an Engineer Surveyor (Escalators) to join our Sales team on a full‑time basis. This is a nationwide role with focus on conducting equipment surveys for escalator modernisation, full replacement and repair projects.

Key Accountabilities
  • Accountable for site visits and surveying the equipment in accordance to KONE standards respecting safety rules
  • Takes measurements and completes the necessary documentation and pictures requested
  • Uploads data from site surveys into CRM
  • Updates global database by request and provides reports
  • Takes part in client and internal meetings/work groups related to quality and technical issues, provides technical recommendations and maintains excellent relationships with customers
Professional Requirements
  • Previous escalator experience in service repairs or installation
  • NVQ3 in escalators is desirable but not mandatory
  • Technical knowledge on various types/manufacturers of escalators
  • Curious attitude towards equipment and environment
  • Knowledge of safety and maintenance actions (e.g., how to access the inner workings of the escalator)
  • Strong customer skills
