Job summary

Pioneer Selection is assisting a leading inspection consultancy in recruiting an Engineer Surveyor for roles across the South of the UK. You will inspect Passenger Lifts and related equipment such as forklifts, MEWPs, cranes and pressure equipment, ensuring compliance with LOLER regulations.

The ideal candidate has hands-on inspection experience, strong fault-finding and a mechanical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, with HNC/Level 4 preferred) and is willing to travel or

Qualifications

• Must be an existing Engineer Surveyor or worked within the inspection industry.
• Hands-on experience of inspecting Passenger Lifts.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with lifting equipment and minor pressure equipment in manufacturing, military, marine, distribution or field service.

Responsibilities

• Inspect passenger lifts and lifting equipment during site visits.
• Ensure compliance with LOLER/PUWER regulations and industry standards.

Job Role of the Engineer Surveyor.

A standout opportunity has become available for a Engineer Surveyor to join a leading inspection consultancy. Our client is looking for a existing Engineer Surveyor who has experience of inspecting Passenger Lifts and other equipment such as forklifts, mobile elevated working platforms, cranes and minor pressure equipment.

Sector – Inspection (Field Service)

Non‑Negotiable Requirements of the Engineer Surveyor

• Must be an Existing Engineer Surveyor or worked within the Inspection Industry.
• Hands on experience of working with and inspecting Passenger Lifts.

Requirements for the Engineer Surveyor

• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Mechanical engineering qualification, Minimum NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent, Ideally HNC or Level 4 Equivalent.
• Experience working on or with various pieces of lifting equipment and minor pressure equipment within manufacturing, military, marine, distribution or field service environments.
• Live in the South of the UK and be prepared to travel or stay away from home during the week.

Desirable Requirements for the Engineer Surveyor

• Excellent knowledge of LOLER/PUWAR Regulations.
