Key Responsibilities:

1. Developing and implementing software in ADA and Embedded C/C++ for the Defence and Security sector
2. Modifying existing development software and contributing to design updates
3. Working on projects related to gun and electro-optical elements
4. Engaging in configuration management control and software version updates
5. Testing software implementations at the Broad Oak site
6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success

Job Requirements:

1. Experience in software engineering with proficiency in ADA and Embedded C/C++
2. Understanding of configuration management control processes
3. Familiarity with the Defence and Security sector, particularly Naval ships
4. Ability to work full-time onsite initially, with potential for a hybrid working arrangement
5. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a high-security environment
6. Knowledge of software life cycle management, particularly in the testing and back-end stages
