Job summary

Jobtailor in Ipswich seeks an experienced professional to oversee highway improvements linked to NSIPs and other developments. You will inspect works, document inspections, and ensure compliance with national and Suffolk County Council specifications while maintaining records for highway adoption.

You will liaise with lighting engineers and developers, take action when standards are unmet, manage deadlines, and may direct a clerk of works in some cases.

Qualifications

• Degree level 6 or foundation degree level 5 with significant relevant experience.
• Experience in construction site supervision and basic understanding of s38/s278 agreements.
• Clear communication to interpret and explain technical information.
