Job summary

Target Integration Ltd. seeks an experienced Engineer to support a major UK defence capability programme focused on the RCH155 Self-Propelled Howitzer.

The role involves providing engineering SME support across contracts, design, manufacture, testing, qualification, and production activities. You will engage with stakeholders, suppliers, and project teams, supporting reviews, milestones, and capability delivery while ensuring compliance and governance.

Qualifications

• Experience in defence, aerospace, land systems, or military equipment programmes.
• Experience with complex equipment acquisition or delivery projects.
• Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

We are looking for an experienced Engineer on behalf of our client to support a major UK defence capability programme focused on the delivery of the next-generation RCH155 Self-Propelled Howitzer. This role will provide engineering and technical SME support across multiple contracts covering design, manufacture, testing, qualification, and production activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support across RCH155 programme contracts and deliverables.
• Support technical reviews, programme milestones, and capability delivery activities.
• Work closely with stakeholders, suppliers, and project teams to manage engineering requirements.
• Assist with qualification, testing, and acceptance activities.
• Review technical documentation, risks, issues, and compliance requirements.
• Support integration and delivery of capability to meet programme objectives.
• Contribute to engineering assurance and governance activities.

Requirements

• Engineering experience within Defence, Aerospace, Land Systems, or Military Equipment programmes.
• Experience supporting complex equipment acquisition or delivery projects.
• Ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Understanding of engineering lifecycle, testing, verification, and qualification activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge or experience of military land vehicles and associated systems.
• Experience within MOD or defence procurement environments.
• Familiarity with artillery, weapons, or platform delivery programmes.
