Job summary

Ivor Searle Limited in Ely is seeking an engine remanufacturing technician to join its busy technical automotive aftermarket environment.

No prior experience is required as full in-house training will be provided. The role involves stripping, inspecting, cleaning, reassembling and picking components for petrol and diesel engines.

Working hours are 07:30–16:30 Monday to Thursday and 07:30–13:30 Friday (40 hours/week). 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.

• Able to identify solutions to problems.

Ivor Searle is the UK's leading provider of re-manufactured engines, reman turbos, cylinder heads and gearboxes. Due to an increase in sales, vacancies are opening in several production departments for an engine re-manufacturing technician. Duties will range from stripping, inspecting, cleaning, reassembling and picking components for petrol and diesel engines.

We are looking for someone who is practically minded with a desire to learn - no previous experience is required and full in-house training will be provided. The successful candidate will possess a positive attitude and display the ability to identify solutions to problems.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 16:30, Friday 07:30 to 13:30 (40hr working week)
