Job summary

Rolls-Royce plc in Derby is seeking a Physical Logistics Operator on a permanent full-time basis. You will support logistics activities, move engines and tooling, and ensure materials are stored and prepared safely throughout the engine service process.

The role requires FLT licence experience, strong organisational skills and the ability to work across Operations and Engineering teams in a busy workshop environment. Derby-based, permanent role with company benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence and experience operating lifting equipment.
• Strong teamwork and communication across Operations and Engineering.
• Highly organised with ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide logistics support including receipt, despatch and movement of engines, modules and tooling.
• Manage on-site tooling storage and kitting ahead of engine induction.
• Coordinate in-shop logistics tasks to support engine services (wash, movement, loading/unloading).
• Assist Operations to complete engine tasks efficiently, including bagging and preservation checks.
