Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Degree in Computer Science, Computing or related subject.
• Experience teaching Computer Science in a secondary school.
• Strong programming knowledge and computational thinking.
• Excellent classroom management and communication.
• Willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Teach Computer Science across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Deliver engaging, well-planned lessons that develop computational thinking.
• Cover topics such as programming, algorithms and digital literacy.
• Create an inclusive classroom where every student can succeed.
• Assess progress, give meaningful feedback and support student growth.
• Help pupils develop practical coding and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to school life.
