Job summary

Bright Star Talent Limited is seeking an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a partner school in Sutton Coldfield. You will deliver engaging lessons, build strong relationships with pupils and contribute to the school community.

Qualifications

• Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Recent experience in a primary school setting.
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
• Confident in managing a classroom independently.
• Able to differentiate teaching to meet diverse needs.
• Reliable, professional and passionate about children.
• Effective communication with pupils, colleagues and parents.
• Desire to be a valued part of the school, beyond ticking boxes.
• ECTs are encouraged to apply where appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Support pupils of different abilities and adapt teaching as needed.
• Monitor progress and identify where additional support is required.
• Maintain strong routines and positive behaviour management.
• Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SEND staff and the wider team.
• Build positive, professional relationships with pupils and parents.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate.
• Ensure safeguarding and pupil wellbeing remain central to practice.
