Job summary

Harrier House Care Home in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire, is seeking an Activities Coordinator to plan, organise and deliver a varied programme of group and one-to-one activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities. You will work closely with residents, families and colleagues to encourage participation and support hobbies, organising seasonal events and community activities.

You will ensure activities are delivered safely by following Health & Safety, infection prevention and risk

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging group and one-to-one activities tailored to individual needs and preferences.
• Understanding of person-centred care, promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety, infection prevention and safe activity delivery.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and adapt activities to residents' changing needs.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Previous experience in activities, care, hospitality, events, childcare or a similar role is desirable; however, candidates with transferable skills are encouraged to apply.
