Eltisley Manor in Cambridgeshire is seeking an Activities Coordinator to lead engaging daily programmes for residents living with mental health needs. You will plan creative activities, support social inclusion, and work closely with care teams to align with therapeutic goals.

Formación

• Understanding of the needs and challenges faced by individuals living with mental health conditions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
• Creative flair, with the ability to adapt activities for different abilities and needs.
• Compassion, patience, and a genuine interest in improving residents’ quality of life.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong organisational skills and time management.
• Basic IT literacy and documentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Encourage resident participation to promote social inclusion, cognitive stimulation, and emotional wellbeing.
• Collaborate with care and clinical teams to align activities with therapeutic goals.
• Foster relationships with residents, families, and the community to enhance the programme.
• Organise events, themed days, community visits and seasonal celebrations.
• Maintain accurate records of activity participation and outcomes for care planning.
• Support a positive, homely environment within the care setting.
