Job summary

Jasmine Healthcare is seeking an Engagement and Wellbeing Coordinator to design and run activities that enhance residents' happiness and social engagement at our Walkeringham home. The role focuses on personalised activities, weekly planning, and building strong relationships with residents, families, and staff.

The position is part-time, requires 35 hours per week with two weekends every four weeks, and is located in Walkeringham.

Qualifications

• At least two years’ relevant experience as an Engagement and Wellbeing Coordinator providing activities in a care home or similar environment.

• Contribute to our residents' well-being through thoughtful, personalised activities and have a weekly plan ready each Monday to bring joy to our residents’ lives.
• Provide support for residents facing confusion or behavioural challenges using person-centred distraction techniques and activity baskets, with documented interactions in notes.
• Ensure the activity calendar is uploaded to Facebook weekly and visible around the home, and posted on the Homes’ Facebook page.
