Job summary

All Saints Academy Plymouth is seeking an Engagement Practitioner to join our growing NEST Provision, supporting pupils experiencing emotionally based school non-attendance and other barriers to regular attendance.

You will build trusted relationships with pupils and families, helping remove barriers to education and supporting successful transitions between NEST and mainstream lessons. This is a practical, rewarding role welcoming applicants with strong local links.

Qualifications

• Experience in education is welcomed but not essential.
• We are looking for people with the right values, commitment and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils experiencing emotionally based school non-attendance and other barriers to regular attendance.
• Build trusted relationships with pupils and families to remove barriers to education.
• Work alongside pastoral and inclusion teams in the NEST Provision.
• Assist with transitions between NEST and mainstream lessons.
