Sandwell Council is looking to recruit an Engagement Mentoring Officer to support residents in Oldbury to access employment and training opportunities. You will mentor and support individuals throughout their activities, training and workplace, ensuring commitment to their career pathways.

Monitor progression and report on development, and identify progression into employment after support. You will work on externally funded contracts targeting labour market progression for Sandwell residents.

Formación

• IAG Level 3 or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years experience in Post 16 Education and Learning and/or Employment and Skills area.

Responsabilidades

• Engage with residents to access employment and training opportunities.
• Mentor and support individuals within activities, training and/or workplace.
• Monitor and report progression of participants on their development and career pathways.
• Identify progression into employment following support.
• Work on externally funded contracts aimed at moving residents closer to the labour market.
