Job summary

OnFife is seeking a creative Curator (Engagement) to join our Cultural Heritage team in Kirkcaldy Galleries, with travel across OnFife venues. You will bring collections to life, engaging communities to shape interpretation, displays and learning opportunities.

You will have 1–3 years’ museum/heritage experience, demonstrable skills in interpretation, exhibition work, collections management and partnerships, and PVG clearance. Interviews on 22–23 October 2026; closing date 1 October 12:00.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in museums, galleries or heritage, especially with communities.
• Demonstrable skills in interpretation and exhibition work, collections management and partnership working.
• PVG check is a requirement for the postholder.

Responsibilities

• Engage with groups and individuals to contribute to collections and displays.
• Develop opportunities for engagement, enjoyment and learning.
• Occasional evening or weekend work to meet business needs.
