Engagement Consultant – New Directions
Location: Bordon and East Hampshire - Home-based with community outreach.
Part-time: 16 hours a week 10am-2pm (Mon - Thurs)
Driving license and own vehicle are essential for this role.
About the Programme
New Directions – East Hampshire is a 12-week voluntary pre-employment support programme designed to help people in East Hampshire on their journey back into work.
Our goal? To help people move into meaningful paid or voluntary employment through tailored, specialist Supported Employment.
Your Role
As Engagement Consultant, you’ll be the friendly face of the programme—building and growing relationships across the region to promote New Directions and open up referral pathways.
You'll connect with local partners like Youth Fed, Salvation Army, Disability Information Bureau, housing providers (e.g., Plus Dane, Great Places), and community organisations like food banks and adult social care teams. Your work helps ensure participants have a seamless, supportive journey into the programme via trusted ‘warm introductions’.
