Job summary

Windmill Lodge Care Home is seeking an Activities Lead to develop and deliver a high quality, person-centred activities programme for residents in Lytham St Annes. You will plan group and one-to-one activities, tailored to individual interests and needs, including those living with dementia.

Working closely with the Home Manager and wider team, you will maintain accurate records, ensure activities are well organised and aligned with care plans, and continuously review the programme to keep it

Qualifications

Experience in an Activities Coordinator or similar role is essential.
Proven ability to plan and deliver engaging activities and events.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Confident, creative and proactive approach.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience supporting older people, including those living with dementia.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver a high quality, person centred activities programme.
Plan and lead group and one-to-one activities tailored to individual interests and care needs.
Build strong relationships to enable meaningful participation and social interaction.
Work with the Home Manager and team to ensure activities are well organised and aligned with care plans.
Maintain accurate records and review the programme to keep it engaging and effective.
Work alternate weekends.
