Job summary

Keys Children is seeking Engage Tutors to provide targeted one-to-one support to vulnerable young people in Norfolk. The role offers flexible 0-hour contracts or self-employed arrangements, with pay ranging from £15 to £30 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.

Applicants should have GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent), safeguarding knowledge, and experience supporting youths at risk. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
• Experience supporting vulnerable youth at risk of exploitation or disengagement.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Knowledge of SEND, trauma-informed practice and positive behaviour strategies.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-to-one interventions in community and educational settings.
• Support young people to develop confidence, resilience and positive behaviours.
• Deliver sessions on healthy relationships, online safety, and exploitation awareness.
• Build strong relationships with young people and families.
• Promote emotional regulation and positive decision-making.
• Complete professional reports and maintain records.
• Support young people to re-engage with education.
• Travel locally to deliver sessions and interventions.
