Job summary

You will contribute to personalised support plans, build positive relationships with pupils, and promote inclusion and welfare within the school community.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide support for Engage pupils, ensuring safety and access to learning activities.
• Assist with development and implementation of individual education/behaviour plans and personal care programmes.
• Establish constructive relationships with pupils and interact according to individual needs.
• Set challenging expectations and promote self-esteem and independence.
• Encourage pupils to interact with others and engage in activities led by teaching staff.
• Provide feedback to pupils in relation to progress and achievement under teacher guidance.
• Promote inclusion and acceptance of all pupils.
• Act as a keyworker to nominated pupils.
