Job summary

Standard 8 in Liverpool is recruiting an Enforcement Paralegal to join an established team. You’ll work alongside fee earners on live enforcement matters, speaking with clients and other parties, drafting correspondence and helping with legal documents.

This hands-on role asks for good communications, organisation and the ability to stay precise under deadlines. Prior paralegal experience isn’t essential, as there is scope to develop within the team.

Qualifications

• Some paralegal experience is useful but not essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication and professional telephone manner.
• Comfort with Microsoft Office and case management systems; Proclaim is a plus.
• There is genuine scope for progression within the team.

Responsibilities

• Support fee earners with day-to-day enforcement matters, including speaking with clients and third parties by telephone, drafting correspondence, and assisting with the preparation of legal documents.
• As you develop, you'll take on more drafting responsibilities.
• Help manage incoming correspondence and email folders, respond to clients and other parties where appropriate and ensure tasks don’t fall through.
• Organise workload and communicate effectively in a busy environment.
