Energy Trading - Portfolio Manager

My client is a global utility seeking a Portfolio Manager to oversee a Northern European portfolio.

As a Portfolio Manager, your responsibilities will include:

1. Collaborating with business stakeholders and departments to provide daily pricing guidance, forecasting, and support for both standard and special conditions.
2. Building and managing the power market portfolio, focusing initially on the Northern European market.
3. Partnering with originators to support new deal origination, structuring, and pricing.
4. Developing a quantitative and fundamental understanding of environmental markets, including managing risks associated with renewable portfolios, and sharing insights with team members.
5. Optimizing portfolio value across long-, mid-, and short-term markets through OTC and screen trading, and developing trade recommendations.
6. Partnering with other portfolio managers to identify cross-commodity opportunities and risks, maintaining an overview of the portfolio.
