Job summary

VirtueTech Recruitment Group is recruiting a C# .NET Developer for a leading energy trading organisation in London. You will redesign a Front Office ETRM platform to achieve low-latency, event-driven performance across Power, Gas and Emissions markets.

The role involves owning platform architecture, delivering from design to deployment in an Agile team, using C# .NET 8, Azure and on‑premise technologies to support pricing, P&L, and risk in real-time conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience redesigning and modernising a trading platform.
• Strong C# .NET development experience with .NET 8.
• Exposure to energy trading, ETRM or real-time platforms is essential.

Responsibilities

• Redesign and modernise a mission-critical C# .NET trading platform.
• Architect and implement scalable, low-latency, event-driven solutions.
• Work with Front Office traders and technology teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Design asynchronous messaging patterns and ensure real-time performance.
• Collaborate in an Agile team using Azure and on‑premise tech.
