Job summary

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a highly analytical discipline.
Proven experience delivering production-quality software and data pipelines.
Strong Python and SQL, experience with large datasets and APIs.

Responsibilities

Develop data flows, applications and reporting across Settlements and Commercial Finance.
Automate settlement processes and strengthen controls for multiple energy assets.
Build P&L, position reporting and analytics supporting commercial finance needs.
Define data requirements and use Microsoft Fabric with Python tools.
Integrate Aligne (ETRM), Fabric and external systems for reliable data.
Create automated reconciliation, validation and exception reporting.
Develop scalable analytical applications to replace manual spreadsheets.
Maintain code quality with Git-based workflows and proper tests.
Grow understanding of energy trading, settlement rules and commercial aims.
Collaborate with Trading, Quant analytics, IT and external providers.
