Job summary

EDF is seeking a Business Analyst to join the PPA technology team. You will help drive improvements across technology, operations and energy trading, working towards An Electric Britain. The role offers a starting salary of at least £45,000 per year, with potential for an annual bonus.

It is predominantly remote with occasional travel to Exeter, Gloucester and London. You will gather requirements, write user stories, manage stakeholders and support Agile delivery across cross-functional teams,

Qualifications

• Proven Business Analyst experience within complex technology and business change environments.
• Experience gathering, documenting and managing detailed requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience supporting Agile delivery teams and working closely with developers throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Knowledge of data, reporting and systems transformation projects, ideally involving large datasets and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Working with business stakeholders to understand challenges, identify opportunities and define solutions.
• Creating detailed requirements, user stories and development tickets for offshore delivery teams.
• Supporting backlog management, prioritisation and sprint delivery activities.
• Helping move business processes from spreadsheet-based ways of working into strategic technology platforms.
• Collaborating with data, forecasting, trading and operational teams to assess impacts and deliver successful change.
