Job summary

EDF Energy is seeking a Business Analyst to bridge business and technology in our PPA technology team. You will translate complex requirements into detailed user stories and tickets, supporting offshore delivery and driving change across data, reporting and operations.

The role offers remote work with occasional travel to Exeter, Gloucester and London. You will engage with stakeholders across trading, forecasting and operations, helping to move processes from spreadsheets to strategic platforms

Qualifications

• Proven Business Analyst experience within complex technology and business change environments.
• Experience gathering, documenting and managing detailed requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience supporting Agile delivery teams and working closely with developers throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Knowledge of data, reporting and systems transformation projects, ideally involving large datasets and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Working with business stakeholders to understand challenges, identify opportunities and define solutions.
• Creating detailed requirements, user stories and development tickets for offshore delivery teams.
• Supporting backlog management, prioritisation and sprint delivery activities.
• Helping move business processes from spreadsheet-based ways of working into strategic technology platforms.
• Collaborating with data, forecasting, trading and operational teams to assess impacts and deliver successful change.
