Job Description:

CBW Staffing Solutions is recruiting an Energy & Sustainability Manager to support operations and project teams in delivering energy management and carbon reduction services across their commercial portfolio in the Midlands.

The role involves providing sustainability strategy advice, with a focus on green building standards, energy use, carbon footprint, health and wellness features, and improvement plans.

Package:

• Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 per annum (depending on experience)
• Car allowance: £5,000 per annum
• Performance bonus: 20% of annual salary
• Core hours: Monday - Friday (40 hours/week)
• Annual leave: 25 days plus bank holidays

Responsibilities:

• Developing strategy, policies, and KPIs for energy reduction projects
• Implementing energy management processes and reporting
• Coordinating energy surveys, feasibility studies, and project implementation
• Optimizing HVAC and electrical systems
• Participating in bids, tenders, and presentations
• Introducing new sustainability technologies
• Managing energy budgets and billing
• Applying project management principles to deliver projects
• Ensuring compliance with legislation and standards
• Measuring and verifying energy savings from schemes and contracts

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent in sustainability, environmental, engineering, or building services
• Knowledge of building energy management systems and feasibility studies
• Experience with Carbon Reduction Legislation and energy saving schemes
• Familiarity with ISO9001, ISO50001 standards
• Specialist knowledge in energy management and decarbonization technologies
• Experience managing suppliers and energy projects
