Role Overview:
We’re the go-to experts for impact-focused sustainability solutions within the live events and entertainment industry, thanks to our science-backed approach, regulatory knowledge, and industry know-how. From end-to-end overhauls of procurement processes to informed output measurements, reporting, and standard implementations - we exist to convert the desire for change into action.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the delivery of consultancy projects and collaborating with Senior Consultants and team members across multiple advisory and reporting projects.
- Writing and assisting in the development of technical assessments, reports, and high-level summaries.
- Liaising with clients, project partners, and key stakeholders.
- Collecting, cleaning, and analysing sustainability-related data from various sources, including large or complex datasets related to energy, waste, materials, transportation, supply chain, and expenditure.
- Collaborating with colleagues and clients to ensure data accuracy, relevance, and completeness for sustainability reporting. Creating dashboards, charts, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively and provide insights.
- Working to tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality outputs for high-profile international clients.
- Ensuring high standards of quality assurance and due diligence.
- Extracting usable data from complex and nebulous datasets.
Requirements:
- At least one year of experience as a sustainability professional or carbon analyst, with confidence in carbon accounting and sustainability strategies.
- Knowledge and experience in sustainability, environment, and carbon assessment, including familiarity with GHG scope 1-3 assessments, carbon reduction plans, and sustainability research.
- Understanding of environmental and carbon emissions auditing, Greenhouse Gas Protocol, and carbon emission conversion factors (e.g., DESNZ/BEIS, EPA datasets).
- Relevant qualifications or experience in the environmental sustainability sector or an analytical/STEM background.
- Proficiency in data collation, formatting, analysis, and visualization (Excel/Google Sheets, data visualization tools a plus).
- Experience in technical report writing.
- Membership of IEMA or similar professional body, or a desire to pursue membership and professional development.
- Ability to engage with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
- Good initiative, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.
- Enthusiasm for working in a growing team within a fast-paced environment.
