Job summary

Murphy is recruiting for a Procurement Manager to work with the Energy Team on the ETP Project, initially based in Cannock, with travel to sites in South Wales. You will lead procurement for key materials and subcontract packages, manage supplier relationships, and drive strategic procurement initiatives across energy projects.

The role requires MCIPS or equivalent, experience in technical procurement with mechanical equipment, and the ability to travel to project sites as needed, with duties

Qualifications

• MCIPS or equivalent certification required.
• Experience in technical procurement with mechanical equipment.
• Experience with subcontract procurement.
• Experience in project-based construction/engineering procurement.
• Travel to project sites required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver procurement of key materials and subcontract packages for natural resource projects (e.g., high pressure pipelines, compressor stations, AGIs).
• Develop and implement Procurement & Supply Chain Strategy.
• Manage Supply Chain Management and operational procurement.
• Procure mechanical and electrical equipment as part of a multi-disciplinary project team.
• Report into Head of Procurement – Energy and support regional site procurement.
• Travel to project sites and coordinate between regional office and sites.
