Job summary

Aureos Energy is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join the Commercial team in the Transmission sector. Based across UK sites with a standard working day, you will manage cost reporting, CVRs and subcontract administration from award to closeout.

The role focuses on maximising profit, delivering project commercial outcomes and collaborating with customers and internal teams across the energy network.

Qualifications

• Degree educated or HND/HNC in a relevant field or working towards a professional qualification.
• Able to proficiently use Microsoft packages (Excel) for reporting and analysis.
• Good understanding of construction industry contracts and commercial processes.

Responsibilities

• Maximise income through sound commercial decisions and effective cost control.
• Manage change control and project risk within the commercial function.
• Produce accurate cost forecasts, CVRs and monthly financial performance reports.
• Oversee the full subcontract cycle and review contracts.
• Collaborate with the project team and client to improve delivery and outcomes.
