Role Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Energy Project Manager with 4–5 years of hands-on experience in Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and renewable energy project delivery. This role involves leading end-to-end project execution – from planning and permitting to client coordination and commissioning – with a strong focus on commercial solar projects.

The ideal candidate will be field-ready for project implementation, inspections, and stakeholder management, with frequent travel to Scotland. When not on site, they will contribute to planning and reporting from our Milton Keynes office.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of energy projects – from site assessment and proposal through installation and commissioning.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, including clients, contractors, legal teams, and local authorities.
• Oversee all PPA-related documentation, negotiations, compliance, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with sales, design, and technical teams to ensure project timelines, budgets, and performance targets are met.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and performance evaluations to ensure smooth project execution.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, reports, and internal updates for senior management.
• Ensure adherence to HSE standards and ISO/quality protocols.

Key Requirements

• 4–5 years of proven experience in energy project management, particularly involving PPAs and commercial solar.
• Strong knowledge of renewable energy technologies, grid connection processes, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent project planning, budgeting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with EPC processes and contractual obligations.
• Ability to work independently in the field and collaboratively from the office.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel regionally for site visits.
