Job summary

Astute People is partnering with a market-leading Energy company to recruit an Assistant Shift Operator for a new-build Energy from Waste Power Station in Tilbury, Essex. The role offers a salary up to £45,913 (including shift and location allowances) plus private medical, overtime and benefits.

The successful candidate will monitor plant machinery, follow Safe System of Work, report incidents, and help hit daily production targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in process or factory environments.
• Ability to monitor machinery using sensory cues.
• Willing to work 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant machinery to ensure optimum performance.
• Follow Safe System of Work and manufacturer guidelines.
• Report accidents, incidents and near misses.
• Assist meeting daily production targets.
• Support improvements of operational and safety efficiencies.
• Assist with loading and unloading and mobile plant operation.
