Job summary
Vital Energi Utilities Limited is seeking a Performance and Optimisation Analyst to turn complex energy and operational data into actionable insights. You will deliver monthly performance reports, identify trends and risks, and support smarter decisions to improve service delivery and contract performance.
The role requires experience with Power BI and advanced Excel, plus a data‑driven mindset to optimise energy performance across multiple contracts.
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent qualification preferred; relevant experience also considered.
- Numerical/analytical, engineering, energy, sustainability, data or performance discipline advantageous.
- Graduates/trainees with strong analytical curiosity and learning mindset considered.
Responsibilities
- Produce accurate, high‑quality monthly performance reports across energy performance contracts.
- Analyse energy, asset and operational data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Provide data‑driven recommendations to improve performance, efficiency and compliance.
- Develop, maintain and improve reporting tools, dashboards and analytical models.
- Support adoption of Power BI and advanced Excel to improve reporting quality and efficiency.
- Investigate anomalies and work with operations to determine root causes and actions.
- Liaise with cross‑functional teams to ensure joined‑up narratives for customers.
