Job summary

United Living Group seeks a Business Development Manager – Energy Infrastructure to drive regional and recurring opportunities across core energy frameworks. Lead mid-value projects and build relationships with DNOs, IGTs, utilities and asset owners in the UK.

Role requires procurement knowledge, PQQ/FPQ experience, and ability to convert leads into contracts while aligning with internal bid and commercial teams. Hybrid role, Warrington HQ, with national travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years in BD, sales, or client management within utilities/energy infra.
• Proven success securing contracts via framework agreements or repeat business.
• Familiarity with UK gas and power network procurement routes and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Identify, pursue, and convert framework and repeat-business opportunities across target segments.
• Manage a high-frequency portfolio of projects from £0.5m to £50m+ value.
• Lead qualification, strategy, solution development, and bid prep for tenders.
• Collaborate with bid, estimating, and commercial teams for timely submissions.
• Support Director of BD on major pursuits and key account initiatives.
