Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is searching for a Lead Design Manager to oversee design projects in the electricity transmission and distribution sector. You will work closely with the Project Director and Project Manager, ensuring compliance and delivering high-quality project management services.

Your responsibilities include managing large-scale projects, providing strategic development, and acting as a key contact for clients. The position supports hybrid working, aiming for a balance between home and office collaboration.

Qualifications

• Advanced understanding of UK CDM Regulations and forms of contracts (NEC, FIDIC).
• Proven experience managing multiple high-value, complex projects.
• Experience on National Grid Electricity Transmission projects is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale design projects from FEED to project closeout.
• Provide overall project management including resourcing and risk management.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring projects meet deadlines.
